Presentation on the History and Future of Japan's Design Policy Now OnlineOn 27 November 2009, at the Asian Design Network Conference 2008, Mr. Takeshi Hirose, Director of Design Policy Office, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, made a presentation entitled "The History and Future of Japan's Design Policy."
This presentation gave a historical view of Japan's design policy and looked in more detail at two of the country's major design policies, Good Design Awards and the Kansei Initiative.
