Bang & Olufsen America Introduces Its Nationwide Custom Design Program Geared Towards Architects and Designers at NeoCon 2004

Bang & Olufsen America, the North American distributor of luxury multi-room music systems and home theaters, introduces its first ever National Custom Design Program geared towards local designers, developers and architects at the NeoCon World Trade Fair on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Bang & Olufsen America will be joining forces with Katherine Stone, host of HGTV's "Lofty Ideas," to launch its new Custom Design Program, present cutting edge trends in residential design and office environments, and introduce its next generation two-line cordless telephone -- the BeoCom 2.

BeoCom 2 sets new design standards in the telephone marketplace, with its bold, design concept, formed from a single piece of aluminum that rises up from its charger to form a gentle curve to match the contours of the human face. It has a calm ringing tone created by Danish musician Kenneth Knudsen, illuminated display, and easy thumb operation. BeoCom 2 will be filling US stores this month.
"Since 1925, B&O has produced a series of elegant, timeless consumer electronics products that naturally extends our expertise into the design and architectural industry sectors," states Michael Aagaard Andersen, President of Bang & Olufsen America Inc. "Therefore, in the past few years, Bang & Olufsen America has developed a series of local partnerships and joint marketing initiatives with many high-end furniture manufacturers, high profile designers, developers, and architects to strengthen and position ourself as a prominent industry leader in this design niche market."
