New Packaging Design for the Revolutionary Tempur-Pedic PillowsDisproving the old adage "you can't tell a book by its cover," Tempur-Pedic's pillows have recently been unveiled with new packaging incorporating the ideas of comfort and tranquility that the products themselves provide consumers.
The new Tempur-Pedic packaging designs are clean and uncluttered while focusing on healthy lifestyles, relaxation and the importance of quality sleep. Packaging for each of the Tempur-Pedic sleeping pillows has a unique design but remain consistent with one another through the imagery and colors used in the designs. Product information is easy to read and the packaging offers consumers a chance to feel the products themselves through a window in the cartons.
According to Dany Sfeir, Senior Vice President of Marketing, he wanted to update the look and develop packaging that was more reflective of the product benefits. He believes the new packaging captures the brand's essence.
The newly redesigned packaging is currently hitting shelves in the United States and is expected to be distributed nationwide by September 2004.
