The Helmet Project

In a unique partnership with Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), the Harley-Davidson Museum presents a feature exhibit of helmet art and design.

An interdisciplinary team of college students worked with the Museum's curatorial staff to create the show, from exhibit fabrication and installation to the art and design on display.

The history of helmets comes alive through artifacts from the Harley-Davidson Museum Archives while a first-of-its-kind re-envisioning of the helmet as function and art pushes visual and conceptual boundaries.
