think3 to Help Design Students Get a Jump Start With thinkstartthink3, Inc., the leader of innovative, next-generation industrial design solutions, today announced the North American expansion of its thinkstart™ initiative, a worldwide education program for design schools and universities, at the Eastman Kodak Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) Education Conference.
Unlike education programs offered by other design software vendors, thinkstart offers a complimentary "complete version" of think3's thinkiD software on an annual subscription basis with all of the capabilities and functionality of what industrial design firms are using today. Students and faculty will also have access to think3's award-winning customer care and online training, maintenance, technical support and upgrades for free. As an added benefit, students can use thinkiD at no charge for one year following graduation.
In order to participate in thinkstart, faculty members or administrators must fill out a registration form online with the number of seats of software needed and how the software will be used within the curriculum. think3 reviews the registration form and once qualified will send the software and other materials directly to the registrant to begin installation.
