London Calling - Apple Stores to Make European DebutApple is bringing the world's most exciting retail experience to Europe for the first time, with a brand new store in the heart of one of the world's most vibrant shopping districts - London's West End.
This superb flagship store extends Apple's reputation for innovation and flair to another level, bringing a totally new retail experience to Europe. It's about enjoying the whole Apple experience, bringing your ideas to life, discovering your potential and learning how to get more out of technology.
The store also contains a "Genius Bar," where visitors can ask employees questions or receive product service; two studio classrooms offering technical instruction for Mac users; a 64-seat theatre for product demonstrations and special events; and a Kids section with eight computers running educational software.
"This new store will provide millions of people the opportunity to experience Apple's newest products, like iPod photo and the iMac G5, and get help from the most knowledgeable Mac experts around," says Apple ceo Steve Jobs.
In all, Apple operates 99 retail locations. The company estimates its stores have drawn more than 51 million visitors since the first one opened in May 2001.
