BCFA 2004 Product Approval Awards PresentedAround 500 members and guests of the British Contract Furnishing Association, gathered at the Dorchester Hotel in London on November 4 for the annual industry luncheon.
The meeting heard BCFA chairman Tony Attard express faith in the quality of British-designed products and in the professionalism of those involved in their development and manufacture.
He also paid tribute to the “vibrant, design-led and world-beating̶ 1; British contract furnishing industry, which has sales of more than £2 billion a year and employs thousands of people across the country.
BCFA 2004 Product Approval Awards were presented to eight companies, including Interface Fabrics for Lucia, a crepe weave synthetic fabric for screens and panels made from recycled materials, and Dinsmore for Performa Plus, a back-coating system providing a versatile waterproof and flame-retardant coating for knitted and woven fabrics for the care home and leisure markets.
BCFA is the leading trade association representing the UK contract furniture and furnishings industry.
