Tsunami Carpet Maker Receives Second Consecutive ADEX Award for Design ExcellenceHansine Pedersen Goran, owner and designer of Current Carpets was awarded today her second Platinum ADEX Award for Design Excellence. Her winning carpet design, "Tsunami" is a thirty foot running wave-shaped carpet in midnight blue.
"Goran's commitment to excellence is to be commended. The creative embodiment of her commitment is an inspiration to connoisseurs of fine design everywhere" said John Moses Executive Director of the ADEX Awards and the international Design Journal publication for interior designers and architects.
Goran who designed and hand tufted "Tsunami" prior to the actual tsunami crisis, is donating thirty percent of each "Tsunami" carpet sold to tsunami relief efforts.
