Samsung Awarded Best in EuropeSamsung has again distinguished itself as one of the best consumer electronics brand in Europe by receiving the EISA award (European Imaging & Sound Association), one of Europe 's most highly recognised awards for video and audio devices.
EISA, with a membership of 50 Audio, Mobile Electronics, Video and Photo magazines drawn from 20 European countries, is the most influential multimedia association in Europe.
Samsung has the distinction of having retained awards in three categories for the second year running.
This achievement marks Samsung's commitment to provide advanced technology, innovative design, and functional products in the digital era.
Samsung's 40" LCD TV (LE40M61B) was honoured with an EISA award for its premium display technology in terms of contrast ratio (5000:1), color expression (6.44 billion colors, 92% color gamut for NTSC) , viewing angle (178 °) and response time (8 ms).
Also the model's simple body design focuses the viewer's attention on the screen.
On the front of the minimalist design, the speakers are hidden from view in the bottom bezel and nothing distracts from the superb image quality.
