2005 Pinnacle Design Achievement Award WinnersA field of 59 finalists in 15 design categories have been chosen for the 2005 Pinnacle Design Achievement Awards from the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD).
Also announced are the six nominees for ASFD's inaugural "President's Award" which is intended to honor a furniture designer under 35 years old for their demonstrated talent and accomplishments in furniture design.
A subcommittee of the Pinnacle Awards Judges has selected a winner from among six "outstanding" candidates who include Laura Chapman, ASFD, Berkline/Benchcraf t; Troy Hollis, Lexington Home Brands; Matt Hurley, ASFD, Otto & Moore Furniture Designers; Margaret Leigh, Zocalo; Thom O'Leary, ASFD, ApparenzA Design Studio; and Yuri Zatarain, The Phillips Collection.
Twelve independent industry professionals participated as Judges for the prestigious annual furniture design competition now in its tenth year.
