The All New 2006 Civic SiThe Civic Si Concept, made its world debut in February 2005 at the Chicago Auto Show, providing a strong indication of the styling and performance direction for an all-new production Civic Si Coupe scheduled to debut later this year.
The all-new 2006 Civic Si is now available through dealers, bringing with it all the power, performance and tech you expect from the king of the sport compacts.
The Si sports a scorching 197-horsepower engine and 8,000-rpm redline, limited-slip differential for better handling and cornering, and a 6-speed manual transmission-so hold on tight.
In 2006, the newly released Civic Sedan, Coupe and the soon-to-be released Hybrid feature more emotional styling, added performance and the latest generation of "intelligent" i-VTEC engine technology.
Coming in December, the Civic Si will showcase this forward progress in design and performance.
The production model features a low and wide stance, a sweeping roofline and an ultra-fast windshield rake that highlights the vehicle's advanced one-motion profile.
The long trunk deck accents the forward motion conveyed by the overall shape.
Twenty years have been good to the Civic Si. And soon the vehicle that inspired creative modification will be back in the hands of the people who know it best.
