Royal College of Art Students Create a Disturbance at The Great Eastern HotelDISTURBANCE at the Great Eastern Hotel presents new product concepts by Design Products students from the Royal College of Art, London.
The exhibition is presented by Professor Ron Arad, Head of Design Products.
New furniture, lighting and other product ideas will be installed into the heart of the hotel's busiest areas, provoking interaction and offering fresh perspectives for guests and the public.
The fourteen participating students are from Platform Ten, one of six teaching units within the Design Products department, led by designers Daniel Charny and Roberto Feo.
The exhibition is characterised by the playful-thoughtful ethos of Platform Ten that seeks to challenge product typologies.
