The Art Institutes International Minnesota BS Degree in Design ManagementSensitive to this shift in the marketplace, The Art Institutes International Minnesota, a creative design and culinary arts college located in downtown Minneapolis, has developed a Bachelor of Science degree program in Design Management.
Rolling out summer of 2006, this new degree program's goal is to immerse students in both the management and design aspects of creative business so that they are able to enact effective, solution-oriented processes which yield positive results and add value for companies and organizations.
Students will develop written, oral and visual skills in order to be effective business communicators.
Additionally, the Design Management degree program offers students the choice of studio electives based on individual career goals.
This enables students to select a focus within the Design Management program from one of the eight existing Bachelor of Science degrees offered at The Art Institutes International Minnesota.
Upon graduation, students will be prepared for entry-level positions such as production assistant in a design studio or in-house creative department, marketing assistant for a corporation or interior design firm, and assistant traffic manager for an advertising agency.
