Ford Reflex Wins Top Concept Car Design HonorsThe 2006 Ford Reflex concept car took top honors Wednesday at the Ward's Auto Interiors Show.
The Reflex was named Specialty Concept Vehicle of the Year and Most Significant Concept Vehicle of the Year by the South East Automotive Media Organization (SEAMO).
The Reflex was unveiled at the 2006 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
"This is the first concept vehicle in the five-year history of the program to be unanimously chosen as a top-three pick by every member of the jury," said Tom Kelley, executive director, SEAMO.
"It's just plain good-looking, and I think that's what got people's attention," said Patrick Schiavone, Design director, Trucks, who accepted the award.
The SEAMO awards recognize design, engineering and market responsiveness and are given to the concept vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry.
