Barcelona Design Week 2006: Better Design Better BusinessBCD, Barcelona Design Centre, creates the Barcelona Design Week that, under the topic Better Design = Better Business, will celebrate its first edition from 6 to 10 November 2006.
With its initiative, BCD has created a mainly business annual event in the field of design in Barcelona, with an international repercussion.
The 2006 edition has the support of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Sector of Economic Promotion of the Barcelona City, The Centre for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM) of the Catalan Government's Ministry of Employment and Industry and the State Agency for the Development of Design and Innovation (DDI) of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade.
The main objectives are promoting Barcelona as a city of creativity, design and knowledge, strengthening the relationships between Design and Company in all fields, and disseminate the knowledge of design and its strategic value.
The Barcelona Design Week is mainly addressed to companies of any productive sector or companies providing services and to design professionals or other creative sectors professionals.
Definitively, to all those that their activity engine is knowledge and creativity.
