GWIG LuminaireGWIG are luminaries with its innovative design based around the light source of the future, the LED.
The concept is based on the term "Ambiental Jewellery" which in this case means miniature, hi-tech light sources which represent jewels, shining in aesthetic interior space.
The main function of the GWIG is similar to the conventional use of spot lights: narrow beam lighting that points on a certain object, located on an elevated surface such as bar tables or reception desks.
Its purpose is to create intimacy and a warm, soft atmosphere.
To create discretely lightened isles in interior spaces.
A hi-tech substitute for candles, lit on a table.
The suspended unit composed of three spots with white LED sources (1,2 W, 55 lumen/Watt each) is designed in a way that the LED sources, integrated in the aluminium core are visually floating within their transparent shells.
The technology also enabled us to reduce the proportions to the minimum, which gave the light a special, futuristic look.
The GWIG RGB version offers additional possibility to use programmable colour light effects, pointed towards the ceiling and creating specific ambient mood.
