Graphic Contents: mixi-bang!mixi-bang! presents Graphic Contents opening October 14th, 2006 and running through November 3rd, 2006.
With Urban Vinyl steadily growing amongst the design and art subcultures and on the cusp of gaining mainstream awareness, custom toy shows have been on the rise.
So far these type of shows have been largely dominated by amateur and professional low brow, graffiti, and fine artists.
The Graphic Contents show takes the concept in a new direction by strictly inviting only the premier graphic design studios in the fields of print and motion graphics.
While these studios are known for their award winning commercial work in film, print and television, the Graphic Contents show brings them into new territory in this first of its kind joint project within the design industry.
All the studios will be customizing their own 8" Toy2R Qee, and the final product of their work will also be made available for sale to the public at the show and also on the mixi-bang! website following the opening reception.
