Volkswagen appoints Murat Günak new Head of Design for Volkswagen brand groupThe Volkswagen Group has appointed Murat Günak (44) as Head of Design at the Volkswagen brand group (Volkswagen, Skoda, Bentley) with effect from 1 April 2003. In this capacity, he will report to Dr. Hartmut Warkuss (62), Head of Design Volkswagen Group, and is expected to become his successor at a later date. For the Volkswagen Group, this appointment is a further important step towards implementing the new brand group structure.
Murat Günak studied design at Hochschule für Bildende Kunst (Academy of Fine Arts) in Kassel and was awarded the degree of Master of Automotive Design by the Royal
