Eiffel DNA: Eiffel Tower Extension

Serero Architects unveiled the new design for the restructuring of the public spaces of the Eiffel tower in Paris.

Serero Architects have presented the design for a temporary platform extension of the top floor of the tower. The structure is expected to be assembled for the 120th anniversary of the tower construction. The platform made of carbon steel is extremely light allowing to double the initial floor area of the top floor for public access.

The platform design is generated by computer script which is based on the structural principle of the tower, the tower's "DNA".
