DesignSingapore Venice 2008 StudioAs a key initiative in DesignSingapore's design development efforts, the DesignSingapore Studios brings together both Singapore and international designers to increase design capabilities and create iconic Singapore design, through collaborations on projects that are ahead of the market curve.
The DesignSingapore Venice 2008 Studio proposes to study the relationship and opportunities between architecture and interactive digital media, in creating a unique and thought-provoking experiential presentation to be shown at the 11th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition, taking place in Venice from September 14 - November 23 2008.
Interested participations are invited to form a Studio group of up to 5 individuals to respond to this call for participation.
Participants should already have content ideas and be willing to work to realize the ideas for the exhibition in Venice.
The studio should comprise of a majority of architects, however studio participants are not limited to architects or urban planners.
Experts in the interactive digital media field, sociologists, writers, artists, or other members of the public with developed views or responses to the theme, and those who are keen to explore the studio brief are all invited to respond to this call.
