Moenia Design Showcases SPA Themed Accessories

Moenia Design will be introducing new additions to its popular Spa Collection of woven home furnishings. The collection is geared toward upscale spa environments where the design emphasis is on the sensory, as well as visual effect. The Spa Collection is functional, with spa culture consciousness.

"We're really exploring the potential of natural materials by working with more color and some very organic forms. The scale and proportions are very sculptural which gives them an unexpected energy." said Tonie Cox, Moenia's Director of Product Design. "Our new floor planter has such a gentle rhythmic form that that the plant and planter become one; our freeform vase has a pod-like shape which continues the theme of plant and vessel as one."

Natural materials have taken the design world by storm as consumers search for connection to the natural world. Greek and Egyptian trends in the fashion world have really translated well into home furnishings -- the ancients had very elaborate woven serving ware and decorative accessories. Consumers looking to add substance to their décor have discovered the beauty of natural materials and the allure of artisan-made goods as functional art.
"It's exciting to see that an ancient concept works so well in modern society. People respond not only to the designs themselves but to the concept of artisan-made products and natural materials." remarked Neil Gehani, CEO of Moenia Design. "I think that it's a very positive direction for the industry as a whole."

The "Spa Collection" was first introduced at the Las Vegas World Market in July of 2006. The collection features colorful furniture and decorative accessories based on organic forms. Targeted at spas, resorts, hotels, high-end retailers, architecture and design firms, the Spa collection compliments Moenia's Resort, Vineyard, and Home and Garden Collections.
Availability: Moenia Design's new products in the Spa collection and other product offerings are available immediately and will be shown at the World Market Center - Pavilion #1, Booth # P12901.
