Wrigley Names Interbrand as Global Packaging Design Agency

The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. today announced it has selected Interbrand as its single global design agency for packaging graphics.

As with its global media buying and creative advertising agencies previously, Wrigley is consolidating its packaging design agency roster in order to effectively drive its growth in the highly competitive global confectionery industry.

"Given the company's strong growth and the tremendous opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to evolve as a leader in the confectionery industry, we believe it is the appropriate time to put into place a packaging design agency resource structure that will allow Wrigley to be more efficient, synergistic, nimble and faster to marketplaces around the globe," said Frank Hohmann, Wrigley's Managing Director of Global Integrated Marketing.
