Moleskine Unveils New Tools for Cultural Pleasure and Mobile Living

Moleskine introduces three new collections dedicated to Writing, Traveling, and Reading. They include bags, pens, pencils, reading glasses, cases, reading stands and USB rechargeable booklights. They will join the existing collections of legendary Moleskine notebooks and planners as a complete set of tools for cultural pleasure and mobile living.

Designed by Giulio lacchetti, the objects are designed to be perfectly compatible with each other and with the Moleskine notebooks and planners through special clips and holders. Detachable add-ons make them customizable, adaptable to different inclinations, self-contained kits for the contemporary nomad. The new accessories retain many of the familiar features of the Moleskine brand: elastic band, smooth and rounded corners, black color, and essential, contemporary-classic aesthetics.

The three new collections will be first presented to the public during the Salone del Mobile in Milan in April 2011, and at ICFF in New York in May 2011. The Writing, Travelling, and Reading Collections will be available in bookshops, department stores and design stores worldwide starting from April 2011.
