In the past the Patrons Program has supported IDSA's communications program, helping to improve the quality of its media, publications and student outreach.
These programs have given industrial design an eloquent voice and a solid information base over the past decade.
IDSA is expanding the program this year and introduces clearer deliverables and goals to become even more effective.
For 2011 the Patrons Program will focus on many activities including those connected with developing the following four content programs in order to improve the role and prospects of industrial design in society; awareness, understanding, interest, and professionalism.
Members of the Patrons Program make the commitment to become a Patron because they want to help grow the role and value of industrial design to business.
As a Patron, companies formalize their support, gaining recognition for their contributions and making those contributions to allow both the Patrons and IDSA to plan ahead.
