The Daltile Interior Design Scholarship, presented by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Foundation, is open for entries.
Winners of the Daltile Interior Design Scholarship will be chosen based on a design competition in which they must create an original room design inspired by an artistic movement or a specific work of art.
The designs must also creatively use ASID Industry Partner Daltile products in the room.
The grand-prize winner of the competition will receive a $10,000 scholarship, and their design will be displayed in the Daltile exhibit at Surfaces 2012. In addition, the student will be Daltile's guest at Surfaces.
First-, second- and third-prize winners will each receive a $5,000 scholarship, and ten Merit Winners will each receive $2,500 in scholarships.
Deadline for entries is November 1, 2011. Judging will be completed by Dec. 1. Winners will be announced at Surfaces 2012.
