IDSA 2006 National Conference and Education SymposiumIn just under one week the IDSA, 2006 National Conference & Education Symposium will take place in Austin, Texas from 17-20 September.
The conference, whose theme is "Elements of Change," boasts of being the largest of its kind in the United States and will attempt to help designers "facing a future of unprecedented competition in business and intense pressure to deliver quality products and services that meet the needs and expectations of a 21st century society".
The conference will offer three-and-a-half busy days of presentations, sessions, workshops and activities in the presence of leading designers, managers, entrepreneurs, and academics.
This year, for the first time, the annual conference will be held concurrently with the Education Symposium adding pressure for delegates to choose their sessions carefully and ensuring they can't see it all.
