The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) partnered with design website Decorati to create the ASID Designer Matching Service.
This new service matches consumers and designers based on a detailed criterion including location, aesthetic preferences and budget.
A sophisticated algorithm identifies highly qualified interior designers from ASID whose specialties match the project, streamlining the process.
"This new partnership offers the public an additional way to connect with interior designers who are qualified enough to be ASID members," said Michael Alin, Hon. FASID, executive director of ASID.
"Consumers will be certain they are working with the designer who is best suited to their needs and our designers will have access to more business opportunities."
