Sounds Like Click: Click 3X Launches Full Service Audio Division

New York-based digital studio Click 3X has opened a new audio post-production division headed up by President/Partner Peter Corbett, formerly a partner at Sound Lounge. John Levy, previously of Sound Lounge and HSR, will rep the new division. Sounds Like Click (SLC) will provide sound design, mixing and original music services to current Click clients as well as build a diverse commercial, interactive, entertainment and gaming client-base.

SLC will be the permanent home for Senior Sound Designer/Mixer Brian Scibinico, whose team recently took home an Emmy for sound design in the Outstanding Individual Achievement In a Craft: Music & Sound category for their work on the History Channel series WWII in HD. "It's an exciting opportunity to manage a new division at a place like Click 3X, which is well known in the industry for doing excellent work," says Scibinico. "It's nice to have a home. That's a rare thing for audio engineers."

Since joining SLC, Brian has already completed over a dozen audio projects, including the launch of Rover for TAXI, a major animation project for Hasbro and UPROAR!, music for Puristics, as well as work on campaigns for MTV and NHL. His team is also slated to complete the audio post for an eight-part Showtime series.

For the past decade Scibinico has worked as a sound designer and mixer on an array of projects, from commercials and video games, such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, to award-winning TV miniseries, documentaries and independent feature films, such as the 2010 Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize Winner Gasland, Oscar-winning short The New Tenants and the Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning doc Which Way Home.

"Brian is one of the film and commercial industries busiest freelance sound designers. The kind of work he's done in gaming and entertainment makes him ideal to handle the diverse projects we're seeing from our advertising clients," said Corbett.

Scibinico has spent the past several months overseeing the construction of SLC's floating 5.1 room. The new room features a Pro-Tools D-Command console, Pendulum and API channel Strips for voice recording, K & H speakers, analog and digital synthesizers, keyboards and guitars, creating a perfect environment for recording, mixing, mastering, and composition.
