The site's relationship with its adjoining heritage and retail precincts have been framed and celebrated in the design concept. At ground level the building setback increases towards the heritage buildings, and thus reveals much of the heritage structures. Similarly, the proposed retail space speaks to its exclusive Emporium neighbours of 36 retailers, cafes and restaurants, including Queensland's most awarded boutique hotel.
Exuding cosmopolitan flair yet embracing the traditional rustic feel that is akin to Fortitude Valley's urban footprint, Brooklyn on Brookes offers a unique accommodation style.
