RGD Accessibility For All: New Resources Help Make the Web More Accessible

by Levent Ozler

The Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) has launched an initiative that promotes understanding and compliance with accessible website requirements. With support from the Government of Ontario's EnAbling Change Program, RGD has developed free resources to educate graphic designers and improve accessibility in online and interactive communications.

"Standards are fundamental hallmarks of professionalism and RGD has created the latest resources available, free to anyone seeking inspiration or wanting to learn more about accessible web design," commented RGD Past President Lionel Gadoury, who is a member of the Project Advisory Committee. "Promoting the value of knowledge sharing and the advancement of professional best practices are central to the Association's mandate, and accessible design continues to play a vital role in our programming and the RGD certification process."
