Liqui Design Creates Versatile Office Space for Primark

Liqui Design recently completed the interior design and fit-out for Primark's London-based press office. Supplying a full concept to completion service, Liqui developed an interior scheme that included the design and manufacture of furniture and lighting-made using sustainably sourced materials-together with a full installation, partial refurbishment and decoration of the press office.

With Primark's wide-ranging product offer, from clothing and accessories for women, men and kids, to homewares and cosmetics, the inclusion of smart and practical storage space options is the central feature of the new press office. Liqui created a series of bespoke storage units for upcoming collections, such as a row of custom-made, upholstered seats that incorporate large drawers underneath. One particularly impressive feature in the press office is the inclusion of a wall of wardrobes, cupboards and illuminated shelves of varying sizes, perfect for displaying Primark's latest wares in a manner similar to a store environment. In addition, Liqui's Theodore sideboards have been installed throughout the office, so maximising storage capacity.

With Primark's London press office serving as a venue for promotional events as well as a busy everyday workplace, Liqui ensured the overall space is welcoming and well organised, with a bright and airy aspect. The studio transformed a former makeshift meeting room into a clean, branded reception. Here, Liqui's angular Splice pendants provide a pleasing glow, and a bespoke oak panelled wall and counter add a natural, warm aesthetic. The counter is designed to be mobile-during events, it acts as an impromptu bar, one that can be moved according to the demands of the occasion. In other areas of the press office, Liqui created a new, dedicated meeting room (complete with storage), and added splashes of color and inspirational cut-out lettering on the walls.
