NELSON Worldwide has designed the new headquarters for Georgia's Own Credit Union (GOCU). Located in downtown Atlanta, the five-floor workplace was designed with collaboration and wellbeing in mind, featuring openness and flexibility throughout.
In designing the new workspace, NELSON Worldwide was tasked with curating an office that would connect GOCU's employees and promote a positive work culture. This design objective was successfully fulfilled through the office's 30th-floor plaza, which includes four enclosed training rooms of varying sizes, multiple types of seating groups, food/drink marketplace, barista, history wall, and areas highlighting GOCU's involvement in the community and various employee perks. This floor is open to the whole building-not just the five floors GOCU occupies.
NELSON designed the workspaces to include sit/stand workstations and desks, while the layout on each floor allows employees to enjoy natural light and exterior views.
