Michael P. Hanson of JDavis Architects Earns LEED Accreditation

Jeff Davis, president of JDavis Architects, a full-service architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm, has announced that Michael P. Hanson, a project manager in the Philadelphia office, has become a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The LEED Green Building System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

Hanson is responsible for the design, layout, documentation and coordination of multiple projects out of the firm's Philadelphia studio.

He received a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology at Allegheny College and a master's degree in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.

A native of Pittsburgh, he resides in Philadelphia.
