The Design Museum launched Discover Design, which aims to engage teachers and students with the world of design.
The micro site features statement designs from the museum's collection, and also aims to engage students with a series of questions: What do you see? What is it made of? What does it do? and What is the impact?
"More than ever today's world needs discerning consumers and responsible designers," said Helen Charman, head of education at the Design Museum.
"Discover Design will enrich young people's experiences of design through enabling them to better understand its impact on everyday life - as well as perhaps sowing the seeds of a lifelong passion for contemporary design and the Design Museum."
