Finalists for the 2009 FITC Flash Awards have been announced with 48 contenders in the running for one of 16 awards.
The awards will be handed out April 27th at a party hosted by Flash developer and YouTube personality, Philip Kerman.
The FITC Flash Awards celebrate the hottest talents in new media, with recognition given to individuals and teams working in 3D, animation, game design, motion graphics and Web design.
Voting is open now through April 17, 2009 for this year's "People's Choice Award."
Winners in all categories receive a can opener encased in Plexiglas along with a year of bragging rights.
The FITC Awards are an important part the annual FITC Toronto conference, one of the largest and long-running gatherings of designers and developers in the world.
