Graphex 2010 - Call for Entries

Graphex 2010: Call for Entries

Graphex is Canada's biennial National design awards that celebrate the best of visual communications in Canada since 1977.

In 2010 the winning entries will reflect the best work from Canada's communication design professionals over the past two years and winning work will be showcased as the closing event of Icograda Design Week Vancouver.

Graphex's primary goal is to promote the value of design to the Canadian public and business community at large, to celebrate the best in the industry and to create an archive of Canadian design for future generations.

The theme for this year's competition wanted to determine what Graphex truly represents.

What came out of this analysis was a simple idea that Graphex is not just any award show, but a true reflection of the best designers in Canada. It is a celebration of the people who bring ideas to life

Graphex 2010 is a national event - open to all Canadians, with discounts given to professional members of design associations such as GDC, RGD Ontario and SGDQ.

All submissions are now done online and should be accompanied by an explanation of the design criteria stating the challenges or requirements of the project and the rationale for the design solution to be eligible.

Deadline for entries is January 25, 2010.
