PARK's Director, Tim Selders Join DMI's Advisory Council

Design Management Institute announced that Tim Selders, Director of PARK Advanced Design Management (Noordeloos, The Netherlands), joined the organization's European Advisory Council. Selders joins other international design leaders to advise and council on DMI programs and activities.

Tim Selders is one of the founding partners and director of PARK, a well established design management European consultancy. Together with his business partner and co-founder Frans Joziasse and the PARK team, he has worked with clients like LEGO, Roca, Johnson Controls, BMW, Hyundai, Vaillant and Airbus. PARK has offices in Noordeloos, The Netherlands and Hamburg, Germany.

"DMI operates in the core of our daily work at PARK: supporting design directors and managers," states Selders. "That is why I, with my business partner Frans Joziasse, appreciate DMI and for years have contributed by visiting or lecturing at DMI conferences, writing Review articles, and providing constructive feedback. DMI has been one of the driving forces in professionalizing the design and design management profession, and I am very proud that I have now been invited to advise officially!"

During the last 12 years Selders has lectured, given workshops and written articles on design management for several audiences. He holds a Master in Industrial Design Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

The DMI Advisory Council serves as a bridge between DMI and its constituents in the community and to complement and strengthen the organization's functions. Becoming a member of the Advisory Council is both an honor, signifying significant accomplishment in the industry, and a responsibility to contribute to the organization and the profession.
