Art and Copy - Inside Advertising's Creative Revolution

Art & Copy: Inside Advertising's Creative Revolution

The One Club's critically acclaimed documentary "Art & Copy" is now available on DVD from PBS.

The film gives an inside look at the world of advertising and profiles some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time-those people who have profoundly impacted our culture, yet are virtually unknown outside their industry.

These artists and writers brought a surprisingly rebellious spirit to their work beginning with the creative revolution of the 1960s.

The documentary unveils the stories behind famous campaigns such as Nike's "Just Do It," "I Love NY" and "Got Milk" and the current iPod work for Apple.

Featured in the film are legendary executives George Lois, Mary Wells, Dan Wieden, Lee Clow, Hal Riney and many others.

Visually interwoven with the narrative, the film shows how the communications field changed across the globe-TV satellites launch, billboards are erected, and the social and cultural impacts of their ads are brought to light in this dynamic exploration of art, commerce, and human emotion.
