SCI-Arc Celebrates Thanksgiving with a Maze-like, Quarter-Mile Long Table

A quarter-mile long, maze-like Thanksgiving Table was designed and built by SCI-Arc students led by faculty members Darin Johnstone and Alexis Rochas for a celebration of the holiday, of architecture and the community. The giant table was set with 500 pies for the school's students, faculty and guests to share with family and friends or donate to the Midnight Mission.

This is the second year the Thanksgiving Pie Shuffle is held at the school housed in a former Downtown LA freight depot-which is itself a quarter-mile long. The event is presented by director Eric Owen Moss and the leadership of the school.
