Creative Technologist Michael Moroney Joins 1stAveMachine

Michael Moroney, a creative and strategic digital consultant, has joined 1stAveMachine as Chief Creative Technologist. Michael has cultivated his expertise through work with high-profile clients such as Samsung and Virgin, creating technical strategies that take advantage of the time-shifting and social nature of today's most desired demographics.

His work developing consumer-focused interactions with companies like Apple/iTunes and Microsoft, helped lead to extensive experience in media and entertainment platforms. This has included helping to develop and deploy several digital entertainment services including AWAL (Artists Without A Label), and recent positions as Managing Director with Polychrome LA and Senior Vice President of Engagement Media at TBA Global.

Taking notice of Moroney's capabilities and natural fit with the company's own affinity for innovation, 1stAveMachine asked him to join their growing creative team. 1stAveMachine has a rich history of viral success, beginning with the YouTube release of their first independent film, "Alias: Sixes Last." The piece immediately went viral gaining international appeal, as well as providing 1stAve with the momentum to maintain an impressive digital presence in the years since. Named one of Creativity Magazine's Top Production Companies of 2010, 1stAveMachine has continued to be a source for innovation in producing creative and memorable viral campaigns including the Google Chrome Speed tests which received the AICP award last Spring.

With a philosophy based on upholding creative that informs everything from technique, to production and cross-platform distribution, 1stAve's discipline to communicate a cohesive vision has proven to be a refreshing and innovative approach for the industry. "The increasingly pervasive digital world has made integrated and unified campaigns not only appealing from a creative perspective, but necessary for maximizing the potential to reach a large audience. Open, shareable media makes content free and we believe that also makes it valuable."

Co-founder Serge Patzak describes of the desire to look at campaigns from a holistic perspective. "With the new addition of Michael to the 1stAveMachine team, we increase innovative potential for what we can offer our clients. Together we share a joint effort to tap into vast possibilities for progress as we develop new media and interactivity around our core mission of telling great stories."

"I'm thrilled with an opportunity to collaborate with a team that I've admired for so long," Moroney described of his experience with the creative team at 1stAveMachine. "The meeting of the minds that comes when we all put our efforts together is something that I couldn't imagine being a more perfect synergy and dedication to creating something great."
