Hollywood Tonight - Wayne Isham Does It All

Hollywood Tonight: Wayne Isham Does It All

Following his 3D video for Bon Jovi and a series of the 2011 Oscar promos featuring James Franco and Anne Hathaway, the ever-versatile Director Wayne Isham is back with a welcome-to-the-city tale for "Hollywood Tonight." Returning to the same location where he directed Michael Jackson's 1995 hit "You Are Not Alone," Isham comes full circle with the most recent release from the late icon.

The smooth storyline follows the arc of an eager girl stepping off the bus in Hollywood, hitting the auditions, perfecting her dance moves, and running the LA streets, all the while being inspired by the King of Pop's spirit. While our emerging starlet does pass her time as a waitress and swinging around a stripper pole, the video has a happy ending, as she leads a flash mob in a choreographed routine in front of the Pantages Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.

This much anticipated song and video has thus far reached over 6 million hits, going viral within hours of its release. "Wayne's last few projects have gone viral very quickly," stated MERGE@Crossroads EP Joseph Uliano. "From The Oscars' Boot Camp, to The American Music Awards promos and his latest offering from MJ, Wayne has the ability to create popular yet poignant work."

This well-choreographed and conceived story is typical of Isham's work, which has lately stretched further into the commercial world, with projects for JCPenny, Budweiser, Bacardi, Baileys, McDonald's, Target, Coors Light, Pepsi, and the 40th anniversary of the Ford Mustang appearing on his reel. A go-to director for ABC/ESPN, Isham has produced promos for the The Oscars, The American Music Awards, Monday Night Football, and Castle.

"'Hollywood Tonight' is definitely an impressive piece of storytelling, and when coupled with his latest promos for the Academy Awards, I feel some exciting new commercial work will follow," noted Crossroads Owner/EP Cami Taylor.
