The One Club's Creative unConference will take place on May 11th at the Creative Week Loft and will bring together hundreds of advertising creatives and digital artists in a flexible, participant driven format to share ideas and explore opportunities that are emerging in the shifting media landscape. As opposed to the traditional conference, the Creative unConference favors discussion and interaction over talking head presentations. The unConference starts with a topic and some basic questions. From there, The One Club brings together a group of participants who are smart and passionate about that topic. Then, participants build the conference's agenda and act as its speakers and session leaders. This format allows the conference sessions to grow directly from the expertise and passions of those participating.
This year's Creative unConference will focus on the theme "Real World. Digital World. Social World," and will explore the interplay between social networking and media, digital advertising and the cutting edge ways that creatives are bringing their work into the real world.
Additionally, The One Club will premiere a new event for Creative Week - the One Show Masterclass Presents Facebook Studio Live on May 12th at the Creative Week Loft. This event, created in partnership with Facebook, is a hands-on workshop and seminar where participants will learn about the latest tools, products and strategies from Facebook engineers, marketers and product teams. Guests will have the ability to explore creativity, innovation and the power of social on Facebook.
This event is a unique opportunity to have a dialogue with Facebook engineers, marketers and product teams to learn how to use Facebook and build campaigns that are social from the ground up.
