Stylex is a 55 year-old, family-owned company that has made it their business to offer premiere seating solutions for the contract market at a range of price-points and styles. The latest addition to this robust range is Foundation Healthcare, a new collection of seating designed specifically to meet the demands of to-day's healthcare environments.
Designed by Stylex's in-house design team, Foundation Healthcare is based on the classic simplicity of their popular Foundation collection. Working hand-in-hand with a team of healthcare clients, Stylex modified Foundation to meet their specific require-ments. One of the most significant changes to the collection was the design and angle of the seating. Foundation Healthcare incorporates a more upright-seated position to facilitate use by a broad class of patients who may be somewhat less mobile than the general population.
The initial Foundation Healthcare collection will include three models: a love seat, guest chair and baria
tric chair. All three seating solutions have been tested to safely accommodate 1,000 pounds.
The line's modern design appeal is based on a simple, rectilinear frame incorporating 1.5" X 1" tubing. Arms are 1.5" wide. Frames are available in a choice of chrome, satin chrome, or one of 12 powder coated finishes.
Foundation Healthcare is for those facilities where warmth, comfort, and durability are the primary considerations. It will be available with all of Stylex's in-graded fabrics, in-cluding the newly added CF Stinson high performance textiles.
