Blurb released a new plug-in for Adobe InDesign, the first of its kind offered by a mainstream online bookmaking platform.
Blurb InDesign Plug-In puts every combination of Blurb book type and customization option, at your fingertips. From conception of a book project to the high quality printing Blurb offers, the plug-in is unique in that it ensures files print flawlessly and any color management work is maintained.
The key features of the Plug-in for InDesign include a Template Creator interface, which creates blank page and cover templates in InDesign on selection of book size and paper, or cover, type; Blurb PDF export preset, which is automatically installed for higher quality printing; and error reduction in Blurb's PDF-to-Book upload process.
