Edition29 The Rides - The Concept Issue

Edition29 The Rides: The Concept Issue

Edition29 The Rides is a cinematic presentation of the motoring life. The issue is filled with a panorama of visuals and accompanying audio of technically advanced visually stunning concept cars.

The Architecture Editor of Wallpaper Magazine talks about megastar designer Marc Newson's design of the Pantone color inspired Ford 021C Concept. Author Richard Dredge tells us about the latest Aston Martin V12 Zagato. Photographer and author Randy Leffingwell dwells into the super hybrid Porsche 918 RSR. Writer Euan Sey discusses the edgy BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. The Issue concludes with the stunning homage to the 1930's BMW 328, the newly unveiled black carbon fiber wrapped BMW 328 Hommage.

In Issue 003, The Concept Issue, London's Design Museum founder Stephen Bayley comments that Concept Cars for the manufacturers are equivalent to showing a little leg, sexing up the brand. We don't mind that a bit. For us, concept cars are a glimpse into the fantasy world of the design studios within these automotive brands. They show us what an unfettered opportunity to create at the best level can bring forth, and demonstrates to the motoring fan a little of the design and technology philosophy of each brand, giving us a chance to wait in anticipation for more.
