Megaro Hotel Redesign by designLSM

Megaro Hotel, located in the heart of St Pancras has undergone a dramatic redesign. Andy Harwood, Associate designLSM and his team started work on phase one, which saw the conversion of the Megaro Hotel Bar.

The 187sqm basement area has been transformed into a sophisticated, modern bar with a classic twist. The use of cream, timber paneling; modern, banquette seating; leather lounge chairs; and introduction of contemporary lighting provide a unique, elegant interior. Dark grey-tones, mirrors, chrome pendants and up lighting were introduced to create a warm, inviting ambiance.

The second phase saw the relocation of the existing reception to the rear of the hotel and redesigned to create an exciting double height space with mezzanine conference facilities. An impressive double door frontage has been installed and "Escher" style tiling floor laid throughout.

The third and final phase is a complete refit of the restaurant KARPO, which will be completed in September 2011.
