AIGA LA (Re)xtravaganza is a blowout celebration, acknowledging the international AIGA (Re)designAward winners for the best design thinking in sustainable and socially responsible design.
This extravaganza not only celebrates sustainable design solutions with the power to spark our influence in the care of our planet, but supports the programs of AIGA LA and future students of design.
The (Re)design Awards is a distinct international design competition that recognizes the importance and excellence of sustainable and socially responsible work created by professionals, students, educators, businesses and organizations from around the world in all disciplines of design.
The competition wrapped up mid August and was judged by five well-respected leaders and design professionals who walk the talk of sustainability and social responsibility in their business practices.
This program, the second of it's kind, was originally instituted by the Colorado chapter of AIGA in 2009 and was passed on to the LA chapter to carry the torch for 2011.
