2011 Open Architecture Challenge: [Un]restricted Access

[Un]restricted Access, Architecture for Humanity's recently launched competition, challenges designers to reimagine abandoned military spaces for civic reuse.

The Challenge this year has already begun rich conversations about the prospects of reusing military property as we find more contiunued timely issues popping up on the needs of civic unity, military influence, and the transformative powers of community-focused design.

Deadline for registration is March 31, 2012.
