Solsonica and POLI.design have launched Eco Bike Design Contest, offering a total of EUR7,000 in prize money for innovative projects involving an electrically assisted bicycle and a photovoltaic shelter to protect and recharge it.
The competition amis to select innovative and functional projects that take advantage of the possibilities offered by photovoltaic technology and electrical energy to design a sustainable bicycle, confronting the new challenges posed by the optimisation of energy use.
Deadline for entries is June 29, 2012.
