Spot is a multipurpose light concept that can be hung, hand-held, or simply placed on a surface. It can function as a torch, desk lamp, ambient light, or wall light.
The designers of Spot were inspired by the functionality and versatility of industrial work lights, and aspire to introduce this adaptive feature into daily living. With Spot, they have stripped the concept of a work light to the essentials and at the same time introduced an element of playfulness to it.
Spot is a design collaboration between the students of National University of Singapore - Division of Industrial Design (NUSDID) and Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle (ENSCI - Les Ateliers).
